" If it's your dream to see a wild tiger in India, you need a combination of luck and expertise if your trip is to be successful - luck that you will be driving in the right area of the park at the right time to see these awesome animals, and, of course, an expert guide to pinpoint exactly where they are. When I visited Ranthambhore, I was blessed to have an exceptional guide from Tiger Tours / Indian Cultural Wildlife Tours - not only could Sudhir Sharma hear and read the signs where the tigers actually were, he could also anticipate where they were about to appear, second-guessing so I had the most amazing sightings. Sudhir also seemed to be able to read me, so knew that I had the patience to sit and wait... and wait for our animals to make an appearance. All this means I experienced the most brilliant tiger-spotting - a beautiful tigress coming right up to our vehicle to make eye contact with me, then striding up the road just a few feet in front of us, and - unforgettable! - three cute cubs staring shyly at us from behind some bushes.
